日本キリスト教団（UCCJ）那須塩原教会とは？

日本キリスト教団は、日本にある約1600の教会で構成されたプロテスタント教会です。1872年に日本での伝道がはじまり、1941年に合同教会として日本キリスト教団を形成しました。信徒数約16万人、牧師3200人の日本国内最大の教団です。

那須塩原教会はこの日本キリスト教団に所属する教会で、1950年に黒磯町で創設され、約70年の歩みとなります。

What is The United Church of Christ in Japan (UCCJ) Nasushiobara Church?

The United Church of Christ in Japan (UCCJ) is a Protestant denomination consisting of approximately 1,600 churches in Japan, which began its mission in Japan in 1872 and was formed as the United Church of Christ in Japan (UCCJ) in 1941. With approximately 160,000 members and 3,200 pastors, it is the largest denomination in Japan.  Nasu Shiobara Church is a member of the UCCJ, which was founded in Kuroiso Town in 1950 and has been in existence for about 70 years.

What is a Christian Church?

​

We are a gathering of people who believe that the man Jesus of Nazareth, who lived some 2000 years ago in what is now modern day Israel, is the son of God who died on the cross and after dying rose again from the dead.  His teachings are central to the New Testament of the Bible and we gather every week to learn from His teachings, encouraging one another and praying for healing.  Gathering on Sunday, the day we believe He rose again, we sing, pray, learn from the Bible and share with each other.  We also enjoy fellowship over snacks and tea, sharing our lives together.  Whether you are a Christian or you know nothing about Jesus we welcome you to come and be a part of our church!

We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so we welcome you with open arms. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
